Dex has changed a life — now it’s Ope’s turn!

We are so thrilled to introduce Ope, our next life-changing diabetic alert dog in training!

This all-Wisconsin good boy came to us from the Dane County Humane Society and has been absolutely crushing it in our training program. He’s still got some skills to fine-tune, but now it’s time to find his forever teammate.

Even better? Ope is our Louie's Legacy Fund: Diabetic Alert Scholarship Dog, which means he’ll head home at no or reduced cost to his handler!

Ready to be Ope's person?

All applicants who wish to receive Ope and the scholarship need to apply for both:

Ope, 1year 7 months

He is available to the client that is the best fit, this is not first come first serve. Please give as many details as you can in your application. We will contact those that seem to be a good fit for virtual interviews.

Location: Deforest, Wi

Must meet him in person prior to placement

Dog breed: Golden Retriever Mix

Age: 1 year 7 months

Size: 55lbs
