Get Involved

We understand the financial burden of training and owning a service dog. Our donors help make the programs we run possible and support our ongoing efforts to make service dog training more accessible.

Additionally, you can support individual dogs or teams to support their training journey. Donations may go directly to clients training sessions, the dogs lessons, or supporting the dogs care and wellbeing.

Volunteer

We are in search of weekend sitters for our program dogs and dogs that may be joining us from out of town. These dogs stay at Green Acres facility during the week, and would love an at home stay for the weekend to rest and enjoy home life. You will get training on the skills each dog knows and how help with their training.

Take a service dog in training to the movies, thrift shopping or whatever your heart desires. The dogs learn how to work with a new handler and get more outings than normal. This volunteer position is reserved for those with Dog Training experience. For aspiring trainers, this is a great opportunity to gain hours for your CPDT (or similar) exams and gain experience. We will provide instruction on how each dog works, the expectations of the outing and how to handle any issues. Handlers must be over the age 0f 18.

Have a passion for fundraising and event planning? We are looking for volunteers to plan and execute fun events that raise money to support our mission.
